Nepali citizion must be 18 year and above in order to be eligible to get National ID in Nepal.

• If your citizion is Issued outside Kathmandu District then visit Narayanhiti National ID Department , Opposite to Keshar Mahal.

These are the documents required to apply for National ID in Nepal.

• Original Citizenship Card .
• Original Migration Certificate if Migrated to New place.
• Original Marriage Certificate if Married.
• Original Passport in case of passport is already applied.
• If information is missing then  supporting document (Sifarish) is needed from Local Level government.
• If somebody is dead in your family, Original Death certificate is Mandatory.
